1. Your documents

Bindr reads, renders, reorders and combines PDF files entirely inside your web browser. Your files, their filenames, their text and their metadata are never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted across a remote server. Every step — reading a file, drawing page previews, building the exported document — happens in memory on your own device, and the result is saved straight to your downloads.

Nothing you add to the workspace is retained after you close or reload the tab.

The sections below describe data about the website itself — visits, and the advertising that funds it. That is separate from the documents you work on, which are never collected at all.

2. Analytics

We use analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate: how many people visit, which pages they land on, where they arrived from, and broad technical details such as browser, device type and country. This tells us whether Bindr is working and worth continuing.

Analytics covers the website, not your files. It records that a visit happened — never which documents you opened, what they contained, or what you did inside the workspace. That information is not collected, because it never reaches us in the first place.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, and does not build a persistent identifier or follow you across other websites.

3. Server logs

Loading the page itself is an ordinary web request, so our hosting provider may record standard access logs — IP address, browser user agent and timestamp — as part of serving the site. This is about delivering the page, and is separate from the documents you work on, which never leave your device.

4. Advertising and cookies

Bindr is supported by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertising is separate from the document workspace and has no access to your files.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

5. Your choices

You can block cookies or use an ad blocker in your browser; the PDF workspace will keep working normally either way, because it has never depended on any of it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
